How do you personally deliver great customer service?
Having experienced both the Technology Centre and our sister site, The Electric Works, I understand how each customers requirements can vary. I like to take the time to listen carefully to each person before deciding how to help.

Why should customers choose the tech centre to work or stage events from?
I have a background in the theatre/cinema industry so I am a bit of an AV ‘techy’ at heart. I am constantly looking at how we can improve the facilities and equipment available for customers to use and make their experience better each time they come.

I have had the pleasure of meeting a variety of celebrities during my time at the theatre including Jane McDonald, Meryl Streep, Hugh Jackman …. and I had a kebab with Jimmy Carr!!

How do you personally deliver great customer service?
I always start by saying hello with a big smile! I enjoy getting to know the customer by name so I can start to develop a good friendly relationship, Answer any questions they have to ensure that they feel important & nothing will be too much trouble for me & all our team @ the AMP. I also never treat anybody other than you would like to be treated yourself.

We appreciate the customer needs and give high priority to each and every event we stage and work hard to achieve great customer satisfaction.

A quirky fact about Christina…
I believe that my car is the cleanest in the UK. I clean it every week including a thorough engine clean with a toothbrush!

How do you personally deliver great customer service?
I love to hear that our events have run seamlessly so I always try to meet customers face to face beforehand. A cup of tea and a chat in our lovely Centre always captures everything they need and puts their minds at rest. And the buzz when customers return is ACE!!

Our centre is newly refurbished and contains the most up to date facilities and equipment. We also pride ourselves in offering a personal service to our customers – we don’t say ‘computer says no’ round here!

A quirky fact about Rachel…
I am a Mum to two boys and I can often be found in the gym or working on my goal of achieving the Sheffield 10K in under 1 hour! My favourite food is olives.

How do you personally deliver great customer service?

I am the first person a customer sees when they walk through the front doors so I always make a special effort to look smart and smile. And the girls always compliment me on my consistently well kept haircuts!

The building is very modern, light and airy. Its lovely and warm in winter and cool in the summer. We take the comfort of all our guests very seriously and so its a pleasure to work here.

I go to the gym every evening after work and I am also a passionate Rotherham United fan.

How do you personally deliver great customer service?
Everyone compliments me on my great memory! I know all our regulars by name, whether they like lots of chips, not lots of chips, cucumber but no tomato, tomato but no cucumber ………….. I could go on!

We offer great value for money and take pride in listening to what our customers want. We can also knock up a fabulous buffet at very short notice.

A quirky fact about Allison…
When I’m not working I thoroughly enjoy babysitting my beautiful Grand-daughter. My claim to fame is that I have appeared on The Price Is Right. So don’t worry about where you will eat today – “come on down” to the CAFE@AMP!

How do you personally deliver great customer service?
I am the newest member of the cafe team and I am really getting to know our regular customers now. I get a buzz from serving something which has been prepared from scratch and then being complimented on it afterwards.

Our number one priority is making sure our customers leave feeling happy and come back to see us again.

How do you personally deliver great customer service?
Having recently left school I am really enjoying meeting all our customers and getting to know them. I am gaining more confidence working at reception and I’m able to answer peoples questions much better as each day passes.

The Technology Centre is a beautiful building and I love to come here to work every day. We have everything here which our customers would want.
