A small enterprising South Yorkshire business running on-site and wireless condition based monitoring services for industrial equipment has relocated to the Technology Centre at The AMP. Drive Management Services (DMS) is a specialist engineering consultancy working with blue chip and SME organisations across a broad range of sectors from manufacturing to water treatment, from building supplies to food production. It offers a range of condition monitoring products and services designed to eliminate downtime and lost production as a result of machine failure.
Co-founder and sales director Allan Findlow said the six-year-old company had outgrown its base at Sheffield Technology Parks and needed to find the right location for continued expansion. He was keen to move into an area where networking opportunities with like-minded engineering and manufacturing organisations would be possible.
“We have been working with a local company Sensdata, and when they moved to the Advanced Manufacturing Park we did some research and quickly realised it is the perfect location for us to take our business to the next level. It ticks all the boxes for us in terms of our requirements,” said Mr Findlow.
