Charlotte heads the Motor Prosecutions team at DAC Beachcroft in Leeds and has a great deal of experience dealing with the dreadful implications that result from a serious accident caused as a result of a negligent driver – often driving on company business and so with wider implications for the business as well.
Why you should attend the event:
This event will provide you with lots of information about criminal law and motor prosecutions as they relate to the negligent driver and their employer following a fatal or serious road traffic accident. Through an interactive workshop you will learn about the chain of events and implications for the individual and their employer from an accident right through to trial, sentencing and punishment.

The seminar is aimed at insurers, claims staff, brokers, fleet managers and health and safety managers/ staff, who will all benefit from an understanding of the process and be able to advise how to plan for or deal with a highly traumatic, stressful and possibly career or business threatening experience.
Learning Outcomes:
The main objective is to understand the benefits of having a clear and efficient procedure when a driver is involved in such a collision during the course of their employment and the importance of legal representation as soon as the collision occurs. And to be able to advise a customer about these processes or be confident to take practical steps as part of the claim investigation process and understand the roles and responsibilities of the different professionals involved.
