Last Thursday evening saw colleagues of the AMP Technology Centre and the Electric Works join together to form ‘Creative Space Management’ Dodgeball team. Players were put through their paces in an alternative style networking event arranged by TeamActiv Plus, a Barnsley based company set up to encourage activity in the workplace.
John Palframan, Centre Manager of the AMP Technology Centre was proud to support the Creative Space Team – “I have been to many networking events over the years and can definitely say that this one broke the mould. It was great to have a good laugh outside work, both with people we already knew as well as those we didn’t.”
The venue for the tournament was Sheffields English Institute of Sport which provided a perfect facility. There were 5 teams altogether from across the region including the AMP’s very own Materialise and Eadon Consulting. The winner however was clear from the start with the trophy deservedly awarded to Hitachi Invoice Capital.
