- Key employer duties including health and safety and road traffic law.
- Key duties upon individuals.
- Key offences including corporate and gross negligence manslaughter, death by dangerous or careless driving and driving without due care
and attention. - Investigation of offences covering the investigating authorities, evidence gathering and interviews under caution.
- Prosecution of offences.
- Practical protective steps that you can take to mitigate potential incidents and investigations.
- Pertinent case studies.
Driving for Work Programme – delivered by DriverMetrics
This session will focus on the reasons why drivers crash, and more specifically look into driver behaviour:
- Differentiating between driver knowledge and skill, and driver behaviour
- Building up your fleet driver risk Index
- Looking at contributing factors such as driving excitement
- Highlighting methods for behavioural interventions

Rhian Greaves,
SHE Regulatory Head of Compliance and Strategic Support, Clyde and Co
Having qualified as a Solicitor in September 2003, Rhian has specialised throughout her career in the defence of criminal regulatory actions principally in the fields of health and safety and environmental law.
Rhian is Clyde & Co’s SHE Regulatory Head of Compliance & Strategic Support. In this role she is engaged in developing and delivering bespoke
discipline focussed training products for clients, together with advising them as to their regulatory impacts at a strategic level.
Rhian has been consistently recognised by leading independent legal directories as a key individual in the UK health and safety market, notably
appearing in Chambers & Partners UK Wide health and safety rankings for eight successive years.
During her career, Rhian has worked with corporate and individual clients in a range of industry sectors, including construction, manufacturing,
utilities, FM, nuclear, retail and waste.
Richard Hill,
Commercial Director, Drivermetrics
Richard has over 20 years experience in the Fleet Risk Management industry holding senior roles with both RAC and AA.
He has worked with some of the UK’s leading brands including Royal Bank of Scotland, Severn Trent Water, AXA, HSBC, Direct Line Group, ALD Automotive, RSA, Compass Group, Coca Cola, and was responsible for delivering the driver training programme for London 2012 Olympics.
