One of the more recent move-ins to AMP Technology Centre, Switch My Server, grew out of their home-office into their fully serviced workspace in April 2021.
Specialists in providing IT solutions for Professional service sectors, this eight-person SME was set up by founders Craig Boddy and Louis Marcus in October 2019. The move into AMP Technology Centre, where they join 26 other SMEs operating in advanced manufacturing sectors, signifies significant growth for the ambitious young business.
With an international customer-base including markets in the UK as well as USA, Canada, Europe and the Middle East, the team support businesses to grow using technology, providing IT support, web development, CRM and telephony expertise. Their innovative CRM Portal delivers powerful reporting mechanisms for customers who benefit from accessible dashboards to view, make decision on, and build relationships through, business-critical data.
With early successes achieved through regional partnerships in Middlesborough and Yorkshire, the team have identified opportunities for further significant growth in North America over the next five years.
Achieving year-on-year growth since they began trading in 2019, the business has benefited from targeted grants through South Yorkshire’s business support programmes and strategic ties with the national apprenticeship scheme; Kick Start, through which they are developing the next generation of talent within the business.
Recent recipients of the Corporate Live Wire – Innovation and Excellence Award 2022 for Network Server Specialists of the Year, Switch My Server are fast positioning themselves as the go-to IT provider for professional services firms of around 10-50 employees, who do not have the skills or the resources to operate their own in-house.
