What you can gain

The Bank of England sets the key short-term interest rate for the UK economy. To help it set the appropriate rate it has a small team in every region of the UK, gathering information. These agencies are the Bank’s eyes and ears and an important channel of communication between Threadneedle Street, businesses, and the general public.

This presentation will cover the Bank’s most recent assessment of the economy and the factors that impact upon it. These include international and UK demand, the labour market and inflationary pressure.

In booking a place at this event, you agree to your name, job title and employer name being shared with the Bank of England, in order that it can create an audience profile. Therefore, please enter these details in the booking process.
