Description

Tidal lagoons represent a new asset class in hydro energy, offering a new application for proven marine hydro technology and renewable energy at nuclear scale. Tidal Lagoon Power’s first project – Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay which received planning consent in June 2015 – establishes a scalable blueprint for this new industry. The presentation will provide an overview of Tidal Lagoon Power’s vision for lagoons in the UK and internationally before providing an update on Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay and the company’s wider roll out programme.
